NIST Awards Funding to Strengthen Advanced Manufacturing for Microelectronics, Digital and Biomanufacturing

With funding from the NIST MfgTech program, the existing Advanced Lyophilization Technology Hub, or LyoHub, consortium technology roadmap, which was first published in 2017, will be expanded to include new freeze-drying technologies and applications for new classes of stable drug products (therapeutics). This will help the pharmaceutical industry get effective medicines and vaccines to people quickly.
