3 KEYS TO A SUSTAINABLE CHRISTMAS AND ZERO WASTE

Is it possible to celebrate a Sustainable Christmas? Christmas is undoubtedly the time of year when more excesses occur: more food than we can eat, gifts, lights, shopping, disposable decoration ... An unnecessary waste that seems uncontrollable.

During Christmas there is an increase in waste: food waste, packaging, single-use plastics and all waste associated with gifts ... It is estimated that on d-bol-10 online this December the number of daily waste will increase by 25%.

What can we do to enjoy a Sustainable Christmas and Zero Waste? In this post we share  3 Keys to enjoy sustainable parties  : decoration, food, gifts. It's in our hands!

3 KEYS TO A SUSTAINABLE CHRISTMAS

1. SUSTAINABLE CHRISTMAS DECORATION

The first doubts start with the tree , natural or artificial? Our tree is a dry branch painted white, so we bet on the natural, without plastic and the homemade ornaments.

On the Internet you have thousands of examples with ideas to decorate the house at Christmas in a more sustainable way. You can see our collection of ideas on the Sustainable Christmas Decoration board on Pinterest . Pompoms, popcorn garlands, clay stars, natural elements ...

If you already have a Christmas decoration kit, use it and don't buy more ... If you are bored of always using the same decorations year after year, you can organize an exchange with a friend.
