Attached are three files. The v-mixer construction file details how to create a v-mixer teaching module for use in the undergraduate curriculum as a way to enhance student's understanding of applications in pharmaceutical engineering. The particle tech labs and demos file is a slide show that explains different particle and powder technologies used in pharmaceutical manufacturing. This includes hoppers, particle tumblers, pneumatic transport apparatuses, and v-mixers. The presentation also includes a v-mixer laboratory assignment. The third file is a spreadsheet that includes references. This download is designed for use with undergraduate students having little to no background in pharmaceutical engineering.
