  Dr. Shenbaga Moorthy Balakrishnan is a post-doctoral research associate at Dr. Elizabeth Topp's lab, department of industrial and physical pharmacy, Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN. He received his bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences from Dr. MGR Medical University, India in the year 2003, a master’s in biotechnology from the Anna University, Chennai, India in 2006 and a Ph.D. in protein biophysics from National University of Singapore in 2012. His present research focus is to apply amide hydrogen/deuterium exchange mass spectrometry to characterize protein drugs for its stability in both solid and solution state.
