The Pharmaceutical Systems Engineering Hub is a repository and framework to promote advancements and the use of robust digital design (RDD) of end-to-end optimal pharmaceutical manufacturing systems. Tools utilizing data-driven parameter estimation of mathematical models, digital twins, model-based optimization, advanced process control, real-time process management (RTPM), and fault-detection and preventative maintenance, among others, are built into a synergistic framework to develop integrated, intensified and modular systems, allowing agile pharmaceutical manufacturing from a digital perspective that follow industry 4.0 standards.
