1. For the initial setup, plug the extender near the router. Turn the power on and wait for some time.
2. The extender may take some seconds to boot up and show blinking green that indicates the booting is in progress.
3. The led light will change from blinking green to blinking orange and is ready to pair with the router.

5. For a Web-based setup, connect the extender with the laptop using the Ethernet cable. If the mobile device is being used in place of the laptop then connect the extender with the mobile using its wireless network.

7. Once the connection between the extender and device has been made, open a web browser and open the website linksysrouter.live com or alternatively IP can also be tried 192.168.1.1.
8. This will prompt the Linksys Extender Setup page and will show all the available options to set up the extender.
9. Follow all the on-screen steps and enter all the asked information to complete the extender setup.
10. On the successful connection between the extender and the router, the led light status will change from blinking orange to solid green.
11. Solid green is the identification of successful setup and the extender can be used for the internet now. Different devices can connect to the extender network.

1. To begin, unbox the router and attach the antennas to it.

5. Now, open a web browser on the laptop and open the default IP or Setup page of the router to being the router setup process.
6. Setup very first will ask for the username and passwords, use the default credentials, leave the username blank, and enter “Admin” as password.

8. The setup page will show multiple options, from the top menu bar select" the “MAC address clone” option and then “Clone my Pc's MAC”.
9. Now, ISP will recognize your laptop for router setup.
10. Now, from the menu bar select “Status” and then “Look for the IP address”.
11. This should show some IP address, if now then click on the “Release IP” option.

Once this page shows a valid IP, it means the router is setup and the internet is operational from the modem. By this time all the Ethernet ports of the router have an active internet connection. Any device can be connected hardwired to have internet access like Laptop, Computer, DVR, etc.
